Multimedia Integration Techniques (NWE.37)

Program Description


An AEC in Multimedia Integration Techniques can be particularly interesting for those who would like to diversify their skills and adapt them to different niches of the multimedia industry. This program gives students basic knowledge of graphic design, information research, programming techniques, video and audio production, 2D and 3D animation, methods of analysis and quality control. 


Some niches of the industry include enterprises that create video games, special effects for cinema, graphic and visual arts, and animation. The multimedia integrator’s main responsibility is to assemble all content elements (text, images, animations, video, audio…) of multimedia applications. 

Program Details

Completion of this program leads to an Attestation of collegial studies (AEC).

Duration: 1 800 hours

Specialized training: 1 800 hours

Admission Requirements

You are eligible to apply for this program if you satisfy the education requirements of the college and you meet one of the following criteria:

1* You have interrupted your full-time studies or pursued full-time post-secondary education for at least two (2) consecutive semesters or a school year;

2* are concerned by an agreement concluded between the college and an employer, or you benefit from a government program;

3* have interrupted your full-time studies for one (1) semester and have continued your full-time postsecondary studies for one semester;

4* have a diploma of vocational studies (DVS);

Admission Requirements

(International students)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent

  • IELTS 6.5 overall score with no band score less than 5.5 in one module OR IELTS 6.0 overall score with no band score less than 6.0

  • Must have scored at least 55% in previous education
